Purpose of Position

Frasca is seeking an experienced Field Service Engineer to perform installation and support for flight training devices. This position is full-time hourly with benefits, the schedule is varied depending upon assigned projects. Considerable travel - 30-50%.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer site for project installations, upgrades, or maintenance.
  • Complete accurate detailed trip and expense reports.
  • Provide customers with troubleshooting via telephone or email.
  • Assist with customer orders.
  • Provide technical training to customers.
  • Perform factory and final acceptance with customer personnel.
  • Maintain up-to-date customer files in database.
  • Assist with quality verification, and research and development of products.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • Hands on experience working with product installation.
  • Skilled at reading and understanding assembly drawings/diagrams.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills, understanding of electronic testing equipment.
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • One to five years of experience
  • Associate's degree from college or technical school - Electrical Engineering or Computer Networking preferred.
  • Ability to travel 30-50%.
