Purpose of Position
Conceptualize, design, and document the electrical aspects sufficient to support the design, manufacturing, and service of Frasca products. Design may include new product development or modification and support of existing product.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Master and continue to perform essential functions of associate electrical designer role.
- Read and interpret aircraft manuals to determine system functionality.
- Locate part substitutes as needed.
- Review technical and contractual documentation to ensure designs meet requirements.
- Troubleshoot designs and determine the best approach to solve design or manufacturing-related problems.
- Support manufacturing in all aspects including answering questions or assembling equipment.
- Design and create room requirements drawings and proposals.
- Communicate and coordinate with other engineering departments.
- Communicate with vendors and determine sources of purchased components.
- Provide support for Marketing and Project Management.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Education
- Associate’s degree from college/tech school (2 yr)
