Purpose of Position

 Interns will perform meaningful work alongside other talented professionals gaining insight to FlightSafety International’s culture and business philosophy. This paid internship is a 12-week program beginning on May 22, 2023 and ending on August 11, 2023. 40 hours per week will be expected of each intern.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
  • Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
  • Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
  • Design/update publications for print and electronic distribution.
  • Adhere to and apply the correct formatting/layout standards to publish courseware for distribution on a variety of platforms (e.g., web, iPad, classroom computers).
  • Support courseware through appropriate stages of the project management lifecycle
  • Create and sustain content across multiple platforms, including audio/video deliverables, interactive courseware products, training publications, and classroom, LiveLearning and eLearning training materials.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, working towards a Bachelor's or Master's degree (prefer rising undergraduate junior or senior)
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application. Must be submitted on resume.
  • Task-oriented, organized, and conscientious.
  • Clear, professional written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive, personable, and ability to develop relationships.
  • Must be proficient in EXCEL, Word, Outlook.
  • Must be comfortable with Excel spreadsheets, tracking, and analysis.
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
  • Proficient in audio and video production tools (Premier, Animate, Audition etc.)
  • Skilled in Adobe Creative Cloud Suite (PS, AI, ID)
