Purpose of Position
Provide technical leadership across business development and project execution by applying systems and project engineering expertise. This hybrid role supports the entire product lifecycle—shaping proposals, guiding project integration, and ensuring effective post-delivery support.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Analyze customer requirements (RFI, RFP, RFQ) and advise on technical feasibility.
- Work with Engineering, Manufacturing, Project Management, and other stakeholders to develop concepts, cost estimates, and technical recommendations.
- Prepare, assign, and review technical writing; author complex sections; edit and finalize proposal materials.
- Collaborate with the proposal team to assemble compliant, competitive proposals.
- Develop requirements traceability and verification matrices (RTVM) for proposals and distribute to internal teams.
- Identify technical gaps or compliance risks in proposals and recommend corrective actions.
- Develop subcontractor requirements and SOWs, and conduct technical evaluations.
- Travel to subcontractor and customer sites to support proposal discussions, requirements clarification, and technical presentations.
- Perform additional proposal-related duties as required.
- Serve as technical lead during project execution, maintaining in-depth knowledge of requirements, customer expectations, daily project status, and the simulated aircraft.
- Lead integration activities including design reviews, standups, and technical interchanges with customers and subcontractors. Communicate status, risks, and mitigation strategies to internal stakeholders.
- Manage requirements and verification through RTM/RTVM; support PMs in controlling scope creep and managing customer expectations.
- Oversee integration and testing activities, including software deployments, discrepancy management, and subcontractor component integration.
- Lead technical discussions with subcontractors and ensure quality and compliance of integrated subsystems.
- Track active projects across the business, monitor competitor and vendor developments, and advise on best practices.

Bachelor’s degree
