L’Instructeur cours au sol est responsable de l'enseignement des connaissances théoriques et de la qualification initiale et récurrente des pilotes, en classe et dans divers dispositifs d'entraînement au pilotage.  

Purpose of Position

The Ground School Pilot Instructor is responsible for delivering theoretical knowledge instruction, for pilot initial type rating and recurrent training, in the classroom and in various flight training devices.   

Les tâches sont les suivantes:

  • Maintenir à jour le matériel de formation (diverses formes de médias).
  • Occuper le poste de copilote au besoin si titulaire d'une licence de pilote.
  • L’instructeur cours au sol s'acquitte de tâches administratives liées à la formation, telles que la préparation de la formation, la tenue des dossiers, le suivi des progrès des clients, l'élaboration de la formation et la mise à jour des programmes de formation. Il/Elle est rattaché(e) au Directeur de la Formation (DOT).
  • Pour accomplir ces tâches, vous serez formé selon les procédures de FlightSafety.
  • Le Centre FlightSafety Paris dispense des formations sur simulateurs de vol complets pour une large gamme d'avions Dassault, Embraer et Pilatus.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The duties include: 

  • Maintaining all training material (various media forms) in a current state at all times.
  • Occupying the copilot position when required if holder of a pilot license.
  • The Ground School Pilot Instructor performs administrative duties relative to training such as preparing for the delivery of training, record keeping, monitoring Customer progress, training development and maintenance of training programs. He/ She reports to the Director of Training.
  • To achieve these duties, you will be trained under the FlightSafety procedures.
  • The FlightSafety Paris Center delivers training on Full Flight Simulators for a wide range of Dassault, Embraer, and Pilatus aircraft.

Qualifications minimales:

  • Expérience pertinente dans le domaine de l'aviation, comme ingénieur, mécanicien navigant ou navigateur de vol (formation militaire appréciée)
  • ou EASA Frozen ATPL.
  • Bonne maîtrise de la langue anglaise.
  • Doit être légalement autorisé à travailler en Europe et à s'installer dans la région de Paris/Le Bourget.

Minimum Experience

  • Relevant aviation background such as engineering, flight engineer or flight navigator (military background welcomed)
  • or EASA Frozen ATPL.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Europe and relocate in Paris/Le Bourget area.

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently works near moving mechanical parts. The employee may work in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock, risk of radiation, and vibration.
