Purpose of Position
The Inventory Management Analyst, Associate is responsible for completing tasks to ensure inventory transactions properly flow into SAP. This position is also responsible for troubleshooting issues related to Inventory Management and Physical Inventory for the Learning Centers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate inventory transactions and expense accounts in SAP system.
- Analyze purchase orders to ensure best practices are being used as described in the Material Management QWI.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Learning Centers on inventory management processes.
- Support operations in setting up new material masters, documenting drawing control numbers, price agreements, and procurement procedures.
- Collaborate with IT and SAP Developers to recommend and help implement new enhancements in the production environment related to SAP inventory management.
- Participate in User Assessment Training to validate SAP changes and updates.
- Manage asset capitalization, cross currency transfers, and retirement of fixed assets.
- Provide customer service through day to day help desk operations including ticket prioritization, tracking, and timely resolution, as well as technical support through ServiceNow web platform.
- Provide training and development of new Spares Support Administrators.
- Assist in the completion of annual inventory verification plan and report on progress to plan.
- Maintain financial/operational controls and procedures.
- Assist with ad hoc reporting and projects as assigned.
- Implement process improvements and share best practices across the department.
- Establish productive relationships with cross functional teams.
- Travel as required.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Technology.
Minimum Experience
- 3 plus years of relevant experience.

- Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
- Adhere to all requirements in the Inventory Management Work Instructions.
- Great troubleshooting skills.

- Displayed ability to work in a dynamic and fast paced environment.
- Knowledge of SAP MM IM and SAP FI.
- Experience with Service Now IT Service Desk web application.
- Proficient with MS Office Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint.
