Purpose of Position
The purpose of the Workforce Management Analyst is to provide the business with essential data to ensure that we have enough staff to meet demand. The analyst will act as a liasion between various stakeholders, provide training and guidance to managers on risk factors, and monitor KPIs to identify variances to plan.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Analyse and report workforce planning / staffing KPIs and provide recommendations for future planning.
- Speak to and supplement projects related to workforce management analytics, provide support while scaling processes.
- Provide support to Operations leaders on best practices. Provide strategic insights to teams while discussing risk factors.
- Speak to long term business strategy and collaborate with Talent Acquisition, Finance, Operations, HR, and other groups as a subject matter expert.
- Maintain staffing files and meetings for various groups within the organization to meet FTE goals.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Statistics or Equivalent Experience
Minimum Experience
- 2-4 Years of Workforce Management Experience
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Knowledge of modeling tools including Excel, PowerBI, Tableau or similar
- Knowledge of Standard Workforce Practices & Calculations
- Knowledge of attrition and headcount planning
- Complex Excel Skills including knowledge of functions, connecting sheets, arrays, index match, visualizations, pivot tables
- Ability to manage large data sets and reporting
- Ability to create data visualizations for various audiences
- Strategic & Critical Thinking skills
- Presentation & Listening Skills
- Ability to act as Subject Matter Expert and participate in Staffing Calls
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to look for areas of opportunity & provide solutions
