Purpose of Position

The Payroll Coordinator provides daily support within the payroll team and is responsible for executing payroll processes.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Support daily payroll process execution, including payroll data entry and processing
  • Audit payroll data to ensure accuracy.
  • Research and problem solve more complex payroll deviations.
  • Support off-cycle payrolls.
  • Perform routine and non-routine payroll reporting for internal stakeholders.
  • Support and maintain accurate documentation of new and existing processes, as needed.
  • Test system updates, modifications and enhancements.
  • Monitor and ensure compliance to internal company policies and external regulations.

Minimum Education

  • Associate’s Degree in Accounting or related field or experience in lieu of degree

Minimum Experience

  • 3-5 years of related experience

  • Knowledge & experience of payroll systems and common business applications
  • Solid understanding of Full Payroll Cycle
  • Knowledge of federal and state payroll regulations and requirements
