Purpose of Position

The Master Data Coordinator is responsible for the accurate creation, maintenance, and governance of master data across key business systems, including SAP, myFSI, SalesForce, Genesis, and Enterprise Applications. This role works cross-functionally with Finance, Sales, IT, and Compliance teams to ensure data integrity, consistency, and adherence to regulatory requirements, including Restricted Party Screening and embargo controls.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Create, update, and maintain vendor master records in SAP in partnership with the Finance team
  • Create and maintain material master data in SAP, ensuring accuracy and completeness
  • Review and process new customer and client account requests, validating data for accuracy, completeness, and duplication
  • Partner with the Restricted Party Screening (RPS) team to ensure all new accounts are properly screened and cleared, including those flagged on embargo lists
  • Identify and resolve duplicate records and data discrepancies across systems
  • Collaborate with Sales teams to ensure customer and client contact information is accurate and properly maintained
  • Investigate and resolve CPI (Customer/Client/Profile Information) errors to maintain data integrity
  • Utilize Web User Maintenance tools to update client information in myFSI, including name changes and account status updates
  • Activate or inactivate clients in accordance with embargo list requirements, including “Do Not Trade” designations
  • Support compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements related to customer and vendor data
  • Process mass updates, including account changes, credit term updates, and account closures
  • Manage high-volume data requests while maintaining accuracy and meeting service level expectations
  • Respond to internal inquiries and provide guidance on master data standards and processes
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce errors

Minimum Education

High school diploma or Certificate of High School Equivalency (G.E.D. - demonstrated satisfactory performance in the General Educational Development Testing Program)

Minimum Experience

  • Two to three (2-3) years' related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; equivalency years experience substitution must be in related field.
  • One to two (1-2) years’ work experience needs to be in a business office environment.
  • One to two (1-2) years’ employment with FlightSafety that includes a demonstrable understanding of FSI’s basic operations, business processes and the use of the SAP system (especially the Orion function) in developing and retrieving information needed to make business decisions.
  • Previous experience working within a SAP system is required.
  • Basic understanding of SAP product hierarchy and Bill of Material (BOM) structure preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

  • Experience working with SAP master data (customers, vendors, materials)
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies and data issues
  • Understanding of Restricted Party Screening, embargo regulations, or compliance processes preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and high-volume workloads
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Experience with data governance, data quality, or master data management processes preferred
