Purpose of Position
The Manager, Talent Programs is a key position within the Talent Management Function. They collaborate with other Talent Acquisition leaders, Learning & Development, recruiters, coordinators, HR SMEs and Business Partners, and various functional stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve talent processes, policies and procedures, and lead/execute on strategic department-wide programs, including but not limited to: Internship program, Military/Collegiate Outreach, Contingent Labor, Onboarding, Recruitment Marketing, and/or Performance Management. This position may lead a team to assist in execution of these programs.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Collaborate cross-functionally to identify opportunities for continuous improvements to talent business operations with a focus on improving customer experiences through standardization, automation, and digitization.
- Lead, coach, and partner with a team of talent coordinators, analysts, and/or recruiters.
- Ensure alignment of talent programs to our talent lifecycle and FlightSafety's employer brand and strategy.
- Project manage continuous improvement and process mapping initiatives for key talent programs across all business units, including the communication timelines for project implementation.
- Provide direct vendor management for operations/compliance vendors (preemployment screenings, talent assessments, etc.) and outsourced labor providers (staffing agencies, search firms, and RPOs/BPOs).
- Develop and maintain department-wide Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Service Level Agreements (SLAs), and Key Performances Indicators (KPIs) metrics.
- Deliver recurring reports/dashboards on talent KPIs and survey data such as: hiring manager satisfaction, candidate experience, etc.
- Develop and assist in the facilitation of a standardized Talent Acquisition training program to ensure all newly hired/promoted recruiters and coordinators are properly oriented to the organization’s TA processes, technology stack, and third-party tools.
- Develop and continuously improve company-wide onboarding program to ensure new hire success.
- Support background check adjudication, immigration, and onboarding initiatives, as needed.
- Develop/support talent drive programs such as referral bonuses, sign-on bonuses, etc. as needed.
Minimum Education
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- Professional recruiting/HR certifications (SHRM, AIRS, etc.) preferred.
Minimum Experience
- 5+ years’ experience in talent acquisition/recruiting, human resources and project management;
- 1 + year of people leadership experience preferred.
- Technical expertise with an array of leading Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Capital Management (HCM) platforms, and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools
- Experience translating business challenges and questions into data-driven solutions.
