Purpose of Position
Leads employees in the performance of their duties; assists supervison and provides guidance and leadership within the tasks and skill sets of fabricating simulator components.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Maintains and coordinates the sequence of operations within work centers.
- Sets up and operates and maintains fabricating machines such as brakes, rolls, shears, drill presses, sanders and related fabricating equipment.
- DeburÂs, sands, grinds, bends, and prepares components and workpieces per design specifications.
- Designs and constructs templates and fixtures to maximize production efficiencies
- Verifies conformance of workpieces to design specifications.
- Fabricates and assembles products from a variety of materials, wood, metals and plastics.
Minimum Education
- High school diploma.
Minimum Experience
- Six years related experience and or training.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
- Some AutoCad skills, CNC programming/Solid Works, Microsoft Office, Sytline skills;
- Basic knowledge of applicable equipment, CNC Break, Water Jet, Shear, Roller, Strippit, Fabrication Scanner, Timesaver and Laser Cutter and hand tools.
