Mechanical, structural, and hydraulic assembly and installation of motion, visual, control loading, secondary control, hydraulic power unit, and hydraulic plumbing systems. Installation of simulators an associated equipment in house and in the field. Assist Facility Engineers with liaison with Site personnel.


Assemble and install simulator mechanical, structural, and high pressure hydraulic systems in house and in the field.


Assist Facility Engineer by perform site survey of mechanical interfaces and liaison with site personnel.  Assist Project Coordination Engineers with site liaison for installations requirements.


Determine rigging methods and procedures for relatively large and/or heavy assemblies, and implement and accomplish the safe completion of the lifting task.

Know the load bearing properties of ropes, cables, hoists and cranes.


Perform initial check out, repair, and upgrade of mechanical, visual, and all hydraulic systems.


Fabricate structural and enclosure assemblies, hydraulic hoses, steel tubing, and bracketry when necessary.


Verify accuracy and interface of visual, motion, and structural components per project requirements.


Determine tools and equipment needed for assembly and installation tasks.


Required to direct and or coordinate outside crews (riggers, welders, plumbers, electricians).


Extensive travel and overtime may be required.




High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and a minimum of one year experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A& P equals one-year experience.


Standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. Forklifts and aerial lifts, rigging equipment and methods. Power and hand tools, fabricating equipment.
