Responsible for advising the Program Office and Director in matters of proposal pricing, cost control, tracking and reporting, acting as liaison between Program Manager and Finance at the Division Level as well as with the customer by performing the following duties.


Assist Government Program Management and Business Development in reaching goals and objectives related to sales, productivity, profitability and industry penetration.


Supervise Cost and Schedule Support Analyst group and Oversee Regulatory Compliance functions.


Analyze data


Assist Director and Upper Management on crucial business decisions


Hire, train and evaluate employees


Ensure that company is on track to meet financial goals


Develop proposal pricing


Develop and implement budgets


Prepare reports for senior management


Ensure the department complies with company polices


Ensure workers have the resources to complete their work


Assess the performance of the department or company against goals and plans


Perform activities such as performance evaluations, hiring and discipline


Motivate workers through incentives and positive feedback


Participate as required in the creation of project schedules.


Coordinates with customer's financial liaison and Finance to define specific requirements that may affect contractual concerns.


Oversees Development and submittal of Small Business Plans and reporting procedures.


Coordinate with Program Manager in maintaining the cost control, tracking and reporting system consistent with policy and customer's reporting requirements.


Oversee processes that have potential for cost impact and advise Program Manager.


Travel and overtime may be required.




Bachelor's degree in Business discipline; ten years' experience with cost estimation, tracking and control systems in a production engineering and manufacturing environment, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Accounting background required.  Government contract experience and familiarity with FARs/DFARs required.  Basic Industrial Engineering skills required as they relate to proposal pricing and cost management.
