JOB DUTIES

 

Supplies support to Director Strategic Management to off load routine work. Tracks and maintains department performance measures, project cost database, data license tracking, and tracks and assigns Device Acquisition requests in the PMIS system to ensure that Simulation has an accurate forecast of upcoming work.

 

Performs and executes delegated tasks, functions and assignments on Director’s behalf. This may include follow up of specific issues with individuals within PMO, other Directors or Resource Managers throughout the organization.

 

Coordinate with direct reports to the Director Strategic Management . Determine action items from PMO and PMR meetings and follow up with the appropriate PM, PE, or representatives from other departments.

 

Administer Device Acquisitions within the PMIS. Assigns Device Acquisition numbers to the requests, assigns MPM or PM to ROM effort, tracks progress and generates reports for Director, ensuring that the requests in PMIS are appropriately represented in the FFS/FTD Projected section of PCMDS.

 

Reviews contracts and creates analysis breaking out key requirements and milestones required to support training device deliveries.

 

Develop and maintains database of historical program costs, quotes and BOE, corporate requests and responses, etc. creating easy access to archived information which promotes a better baseline for future ROM efforts.

 

Tracks Data License Agreements in Sim Contract Status report ensuring that necessary licenses have been acquired and paid for prior to start of revenue training or as otherwise defined by the terms of the agreement.

 

Compiles data and generates statistical reports to support performance metrics as required by Hoshin/FlightSafety Flight Plan and other performance objectives for PMO. Assist others in organization with developing metrics.

 

Organizes and coordinates the Quarterly Matrix Summit event, solicits and compiles input for the Agenda and the Running Action Item List (RAIL).

 

Able to take on special tasks as necessary for Directors and Managers at FSI Simulation.

 

Coordinates calendar and meetings, and arranges travel for Director of Strategic Management .

 

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

 

High School or equivalent, technical school a plus with a minimum of three years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

 

Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
