Purpose of Position

Interns will perform meaningful work alongside other talented professionals gaining insight to FlightSafety International’s culture and business philosophy. This paid internship is a 10-week program that will begin May 27, 2025 and will conclude August 1, 2025. 40 hours per week will be expected of each intern.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Understands the overall concept of the company, including the brand, customer, product goals, and all other aspects of service.
  • Rotates through our divisions of responsibility and provides ideas to grow and improve the business.
  • Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present final project during the internship.
  • Engages with customers or clients and provides service and/or sales.
  • Provide suggestions to management for improving customer service and internal processes.
  • Learns and becomes proficient on internal software systems.
  • Develop windows applications to support software for simulator functions
  • Work with web applications using Microsoft technology stack products
  • Familiar with database development for container applications.

Minimum Education

  • Must currently be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, working towards a Computer Science degree.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher at the time of application. Must be submitted on resume.

Minimum Experience

  • Fundamental knowledge of computer programs, techniques, and concepts for the area of application.

  • Strong work ethic, self-motivated, positive, personable, and ability to develop relationships.
  • Excellent critical thinking/problem solving skills.
  • Ability to handle confidential information.
