Purpose of Position

The Data Management Coordinator will provide support to the production and field service team to ensure successful delivery of data services as part of operations. He/She will be responsible for in – house and onsite data collection, data storage, data input and customer data submission.

Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Assist with performing Data Management tasks related to the development, production, and support of various simulator systems and and items of equipment acquired by Flight Safety Visual Systems.Learn and apply industry accepted principles in retrieving, recovering and preserving product data.
  • Perform administrative tasks and support as necessary; data input, data submission, etc.
  • Receive, track, and direct all incoming data, and send notifications of receipt in a timely manner to the team.
  • Prepare documents for check-in and check-outProcess documents for distribution, review, tracking and content management.
  • Catalog technical data records and documents (requirements, design, test etc.) in DM library for storage and easy retrieval.
  • Respond to data calls and requests related to document reviews, authorizations to release, distribution statements, document distribution/delivery, and confirmations of receiptAssists in the design, development and establishment of data/content management documentation based on program requirements.
  • Respond to document and media duplication request and track distribution and location of all documents and media.
  • Convert third copy document to electronic format, and catalog for library check-in.
  • Shred and dispose off documents and media IAW applicable procedures.
  • Helps to coordinate development and implementation of computer based data management systems and electronic data support
  • Performs other data management related duties and assignments as directed

Minimum Education

Associated Degree (AS) in related field

Minimum Experience

4 year’s experience in a comparable position. Or 2 minimum years as a Data Management Coordinator Level I.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities

Basic math skills are required to perform this job.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10 pounds. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The noise level in the work environment is usually light to moderate.
